New to the forum, My 74 Stepside project

Hey I'm new to this forum, thought I'd post some progression on this thing.
So I originally got this truck for $600, for a ratrod/daily driver project. On the 10th day I had it, some guy pulls out of driveway without looking going about 10 MPH while I had the 35 MPH right of way. Had to replace the entire front clip (all junkyard parts). Right now I'm shaving off all the corner lights, mirror, and door handles are going tomorrow. Rattle can primer black paintjob. Has the original 350 motor, edelbrock carb and intake, HEI, soon to be electric fanned. It's got a few inches dropped, not sure how much. The guy that had it before me pretty much knew nothing about cars so I've got to clean up his mess.

The first day I got her, notice the stock hood bend haha as well as my wrecked 97 328is in the background.

Right after the accident, completely embarrassed by all the bondo falling off hahaha

After the front clip install

Smoothing the rear

Backend painted, along with solid rear window.

I know I'll probably be persecuted for all my bondo usage, but if I had my welder on hand, I would have, maybe later on when I decide to graduate it from the rattle cans.
Anyways, it'll be a nice ratrod in a few weeks. I'll post some more pics when it's all done. I had to go back to Chevy's, my first car I built was a 1969 El Camino SS, the imports were just not doing it for me.

Glad to hear you didn't junk your $600 investment after the wreck. Looks like good progress.

aw I'm way to stubborn to junk that thing, only about 250 in junkyard parts and it gave me a chance to paint all the hard to reach places in the front clip.
