'59 shortbed fleetside on a 59' longbed fleetside frame?

How hard would it be to modify a longbed frame to put a shortbed on it?

Eyeing a '59 longbed frame that already has the work done to it that I want for my shortbed.

What would it take to make it work?

Should not be too hard. Just need to cut out the right amout in front of rear wheels and weld it back with some extra plates to make it stong. Plus I think you'll need to hack off the rear of the frame also.
