Re: Original TRUCK TILT FOR SALE

Are you sure that is from a pickup? Doesn't look quite right to me.

Re: Original TRUCK TILT FOR SALE

looks like a van tilt to me due to the wiring harness connection [straight] - the truck ones were half moon shaped.

Re: Original TRUCK TILT FOR SALE

I would have to agree with too much stuff and lksdcvn. It does look like a van tilt. Based on the tilt lever knob, hazard knob and wiring connector. I also don't see a neutral safety switch. How long is the column housing?

Just an observation. Don't hold me to it. Just trying to help.

Bad info there guys, you can't go by that given the fact that it may have had the T/S switch replaced at some point. Unless really old GM stock (pre 78-9'ish) all GM/Delco replacement switches have the flat plug and jumper adapter like pictured below. I am not saying this one is or is not a true truck tilt as there are several other ways to confirm that for sure, am only stating that you can not go by the info quoted above. Mel

Re: Original TRUCK TILT FOR SALE

The end spline looks to be the correct truck length to me. I had a van tilt that I purchased off of ebay before I knew there was a difference...they are much longer. This one in this thread matches the correct truck tilt that I have now (purchased after I realized the difference) with a short spline. Just an observation.
