Neutral safety switch on slipped column
What can you do with the neutral safety switch (backup light switch) when the column is shortened by collapsing the Intermediate shaft? I collapsed my column 1.5 inches and the switch smashed against the firewall. (1971 - non tilt)

Re: Neutral safety switch on slipped column
It is not too difficult to relocate the switch further up the column. Cut a slot, locate and drill the mounting holes and weld in an angle to mimic the original sheet metal tab.
