Stock head liner

I have a '66 Panel in many pieces at the moment and am making good time at the moment reassembling it after years of more work than I ever dreamed of when it came in my shop. I am figuring out what to do with the inside and don't know how the Stock " cardboard" head liner comes out (the section over the seats) or if it even should. I would love to see some solutions you guys have come up with and any pics would be great.

Thanks in advance

Re: Stock head liner

If it is in decent shape, I would leave it, as far as I know it is not reproduced, and it is hard to find a similar material to put back in it.

Re: Stock head liner

Ehen I worked on my 66' Burb the headliner was in good shape and I painted it along with the interior. It is glued on and hard to take off.

Re: Stock head liner

I appreciate the feedback. Mine is still in the same shape that it was new near as I can tell and that will probably be the path I take, paint it and forget it. Thanks for the help!
