Re: BBC headers ?
I went with cast Sanderson. Good clearance, good looks, my starter wouldn't fit and the flanges need to be ground for clearance on brackets and senders in the heads.

Re: BBC headers ?
I'm looking at going with hedman elites. I think Chevy Fleetside said he used them.

Re: BBC headers ?
It is stock. I am keeping it tame. I really don't want to drive fast just cruise.

Re: BBC headers ?
I'm running 71 chevelle headers on mine, IIRC.
I want to swap a 6 speed behind my 454. Did you have to buy an aftermarket bellhousing?

Re: BBC headers ?
You can use any of the 70-81 camaro headers if your running an automatic. Have to run a mini starter or clearance the inner most primary on the passenger side. We never could find 2" primary and 3.5 collector headers for the 65 or my current project 64 shortwide.
