Can a 90s 5 lug rear axle fit into 60's c10?

I know that 71 and 72s will drop right in and 73 to 87 will work as well but how about one out of a 93 1500? i can get one for cheap and i think the length is close to the same anyone have any info?

With a big enough hammer anything will fit.

No really. I am sure if there is a will there is a way. You probably just have to get the kit it takes to put in the 73-87 axle.

The '71-'87 rear ends are 1 1/2" wider than the '63-'70 rear ends. I don't remember the exact measurement, but the '88 and up rear ends are 3"+ wider than the '63-'70's. I have the WMS to WMS measurements at the shop.
