new project 1987 K5 blazer 4x4
I got this for $245.00 bucks. Has an 89 blazer motor in and has several wiring issues. Needs new doors and rocker panel. Have an extra back tailgate glass for it and a back bench seat and two buckets I need to get rid of.

What kind of wiring issues ?? Could be as simple as a salvage yard wire harness.

Re: new project 1987 K5 blazer 4x4
pulled back carpet out and rust is pretty bad. Not sure how to approach it. A southern rust free tub would be the best way to go. Gonna put older 350 in it for summer and drive it around. Then over the winter do some body work of some sort and motor swap, lift etc.

Re: new project 1987 K5 blazer 4x4
worked on engine last week and it is seized up at the moment. Going to pull it apart and see how bad it is. Other motor I had is junk. It was free at least. Not sure what to do if this motor is complete trash. Started taking core support out today so I can get to motor easier.

Re: new project 1987 K5 blazer 4x4
got core out tonite and got most of the front of motor taken apart. Took valve cover off and looks real nice and clean in there. If this motor is trash im going to go talk to guy I got it from and find out what he was thinking for letting it sit.
