suburban owners
Hello, newbie here.. Has anybody been able to fix the side sliding window frames (bottom). ? Mine a rotten thru and would like to fix them.. any ideas? One more question. If i can't fix them where can i buy the glass to make them none sliding? Thanks for your help.

The bottom channels on all my sliding windows were rusted away on my 66 Burb rebuild.. I used the bottom parts of the channels from some extra vent windows to repair the bad window channels. The felt fit right in when finished. I cut out the rusty part, of the original windows then cut the new channels to fit and welded them together. Even though the channels look a little different you cannot see them after they are installed.
