15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
Do you guys think it would be a problem to run a 15x14 wheel with only 3.5 inches of back spacing with stock trailing arms? I know the rear would have to be narrowed.

Re: 15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
what I can tell you is that 15x13 will fit on a stock axle but I had my stock rallies cut and wided (6 lug) it was alot cheaper than buying a custom wheel or clipping an axle
if your woundering why 13" well its half way between the two PS tires availabe in a 30" tall tire so it give me options on width I have een woundering how you get that thing to stick...

Re: 15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
Tom ran a 12 inch wheel on the truck but I don't know what backspacing. The rear has been narrowed an inch or two on each side. I know where I can get a smokin deal on a set of wheels but I'm not sure if the backspacing will work with trailing arms and I'm not taking them off.
Hottrucks look and see how far it is from the back of your wheel to the trailing arms please.

Re: 15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
my stock 8" rally has 8 1/2" left before it hits the TA but I have bags and they are about an inch closer to the rim...I guess I could swtich to coil overs If I needed more room

Re: 15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
This truck will have coilovers so they should work. Now all I need is some money.

Re: 15x14 Wheel with trailing arms
kevin keep in mind that I have a lead on cutting and widening our stock wheels for cheap to any specs we need...I'm waiting for mine to get back to me before I say anything about it..I want to see the work they do, if it good I hope that we can bury the guy in a few sets for us guys who want wider wheels and tires but dont have a big budget or just want that stock look without calling one of those fancy wheel companies and paying big $$$ for a rim
