cant decide. boss 338 or coys? post pics
So Ive seen many pictures of coys on the square body trucks but not so many boss rims. i understand that the boss rims have fitment issues but i like the fact that not everyone has them unlike the coys which are everywere (kinda like some american racing rims i know of..) but the determining factors come down to A: looks {ive seen coys but not many 338s} B: are they american made or chinese? C: size options and fitment.
i plan on doing a 5/6 drop on my truck with 2 inch drop springs and 3'' spindles and a flip kit im unsure if a ssbc front disc system and rear disc conversion will fix the fitment issues, so if you guys could post pictures up with a simalar set up with both rims that would be much appreciated thanks |

First off, Nice truck. Second, why dont you just drop yours first then go from their? Them wheels look good already and you never know you might like it. Very sweet truck again

Re: cant decide. boss 338 or coys? post pics
the boss are nice but the off set is more limited then with the coys, I love a big lip on my wheels but, for the price diff I would prob do the boss if I was buying new, here are my coys.18x8 front 20x10s rear.
and going to go 20x10s in the front!

Re: cant decide. boss 338 or coys? post pics
The issue with the Boss 338 right now is still fitment with the 1.25" rotor (HD brake system) and availability. I had a pair bought and paid for, but they just never got the fitment issues corrected. Supposedly this 3rd time around they will work, but until I see it for myself i won't be spending my money on them. I know the Coy's fit, I don't know if the Boss 338 does yet or not.

Re: cant decide. boss 338 or coys? post pics
So let me get this straight....
No issues with the Coys with 1.25" rotors, with a 3"djm spindle?? I don't care if everyone is running these wheels, they look sick... justpball, looks great, likin the deep lip up front! |

Re: cant decide. boss 338 or coys? post pics
mine are 18x8 with 4in BS and 20x10 with 5in BS, but this week going to be putting 20x10s on all four corners, oh and I did have to grind the lip back on my rotors to get the cap to fit on my fronts..FYI
