water in tank

ive got some water in my gas tank. it is located in the bed. how is the best to get rid of it? been told to run 104 octane in it, then fill it with 92 or 94. opions please. the tank is got maybe 5 to 10 gallons now.

You might try a gasoline dryer additive:

I've never tried any so don't know how well it works. It may depend on how much water is in the tank. I believe water is heavier than gasoline, so it may settle to the bottom allowing it to be removed by syphon, again depending on how much water is present.

I thought the gas blended w/ ethanol didn't have a problem with water since the ethanol is water soluble. I'm often wrong. This could be one of those times...

thanks for the fast responce. we have decided to suck all the gas out. then put some 104 buster, and fill the tank with 92-94 gas just in case.lets cruise!

hey 721lb4x4, have no way of knowing how much water is in there, but the bottom of the see thu in line filter is full! the truck keeps stalling. there is even water coming out of the exhaust! theres just too much! thats why well suck it all out and try again. thank again!
