81 Cheyenne?

Anyone got one? My Dad said they have "neat" interiors in them being they're kinda between a Scottsdale and Silverado.

"neat" to us is like seeing silverado door panels with manual windows but power locks...things like that.

Never seen an 81 Cheyenne in person, or even in pics really.

Thanks, Brandon

Re: 81 Cheyenne?

I had one. I'll post up some pics tomorrow, they are on my work PC. It was all manual windows, locks, no tilt, no AC, etc. Nothing different so to speak.

Re: 81 Cheyenne?

As stated the Cheyenne was between the Scottsdale and Silverado;the interior received carpet and a headliner and other trim items;power windows/locks,and powertrain combinations back then were stand alone options that could be ordered on any level of trim eg if you wanted a loaded black fleetside without body mouldings you ordered a custom deluxe and then added pw,pdl, buckets, tach, air etc. Many Silverados came with air/pw/pdl but it was not part of the package;there was a 6 cylinder no option Silverado up on e bay recently.

Re: 81 Cheyenne?

Here are the pics of my old one during/after repainting and redoing the interior at the end of 1991. Originally was a 6cyl/3sp manual:
