Hi Gang
Heres the "after" pic, with new chrome bumpers (from the local "taiwan" crash parts place) and a "quicky K Wash" and the 18's installed. I'm gonna do a "flip" in the rear as soon as I find out what spring/spindle combo I need. Whaddya think?? Larry

Re: How many 2wd Suburban guys do we have?
Hi Gang
Heres the "after drop" shot. Belltech 3 inch spindles in front and 3 1/2 drop shackles in the rear. Still not low enough for me...........yet. Maybe a couple more inches and I'll be happy. The first day home 12/16/2009, just licence tag & gas added mods After 18's & Drop........... Whaddya think now?? Larry

Re: How many 2wd Suburban guys do we have?
Hi Adam
"K-Wash" is a term mud truck guys around where I live when the spray their truck with Krylon instead of real paint. I did that to cover it till spring when I will take it, get it soda blasted and ready to repaint. Larry

Re: How many 2wd Suburban guys do we have?
Here's my new one. It will be coming home this weekend. I didn't plan on doing to much to it, but after lookin' at 'ballin's Burb, I think I am going to go that direction instead. I like the idea of being able to get in the back seat without having to climb through the front door, and all of the additional room.
I'll probably still keep the 2wd Blazer, but who knows now? |

Re: How many 2wd Suburban guys do we have?
Hi - I bought this
to tow this eventually I would like to look more like a bunch of what I'm seeing here. (tubbed, bagged, and towing) He's a 1988 R20 with a 454 and 400 trans, mid 55k miles. Don't know anything about low except that I want it. Last edited by Cursh; 05-03-2010 at 06:30 PM. Reason: added more information |
