Welcome to the world of old trucks. You may have dis-lodged all the old crap and stop leak from years gone by. You can try stop leak again or try to get it re-cored

Thanks, fortunately it seems I have better luck than I thought, it turns out that I'm only an idiot, not that I have a leaking radiator. I didn't have the bottom hose clamped in the right spot so it was leaking there and because of the way the water was flowing, looked like it was coming out of the whole bottom of the radiator.
