72 4x4 Blazer

What's it worth? My guess is $2500-$3000, but actually getting the money could be a problem in this economy. More if I include the '72 hooks and truck load of parts that I've collected for it. It's a '72 4x4, all original and all there, 350/350/205 with a/c(doesn't work), tilt with new black wheel, good interior but front seats need recovered, runs & drives pretty good, 3:08 posi rear, older nos grille, all new mirrors, red w/white interior, has it's share of rust, especially in the cowl. I have a nice cowl section that I was planning to put in when I restored it. Would it sell at that price??? I kinda hate to sell it, but have my eye on another project that I can fix quicker.

Wynne, I believe you could still get somewhere around that for sure. Trevor

Re: 72 4x4 Blazer

Thanks Trevor. Just got a call from someone who is interested, so I guess I'm in the ballpark.

Yeah you're right about the parts, I parted one out a few years ago and the parts went pretty quick. This one has great parts, but the rust hurts it. Several people have told me that it's worth more than that, but I don't think I could get a whole lot more than $3000 around here. Maybe $3500.
