what do you think about 350/700r combos?
A deacon @ my church has a 350 with a 700r for sale for 500.00. He is going to throw in a Quadra jet and some headers also. The engine came out of a van so hopefully it has 4bolt main bearings. I plan on putting in a 400 crank and rods but w/o punching the cylinders. My goal is to have more power than a 350 and more durability/longevity than a 383 so a 377 is a compromise I am willing to make. Are the 700r trannys able to handle what I plan on doing?
