factory fuel filter element

Is the element in a factory glass filter replaceable/availible? I have looked over the catalogs that I have and see none and have seached the web and only come up with newer styles. I would like to keep the factory look and I think it's cool. For the time being I took it out cleaned everything and put it back on.

Re: factory fuel filter element

It probably depends on the year, engine, and who made the filter. At least 3 different suppliers were used at one time or another - AC, Moraine (another GM division), and Carter.

Ray
It has AC on the glass. I have found the whole filter (glass, body and element) but not just the element
