starting issues
If I run my truck every other day it starts right up every time. If I let it sit for 3 or more days I have to put gas in the carb to get it to start. When I first got it I never had that issue. Any ideas on what may be the issue?

I would think weak diaphragm, or it could be evaporating out from all of the Florida heat
 . I had an old Holley economaster carb that would do that on a 69 Camaro. Once you pour a little fuel in it in the morning it would crank up all day, but overnight did it in.

There was an extensive thread earlier complaining about this trait with Edelbrock carbs. After numerous theories and examples, and similar stories with other brands of carburetors, the most logical explaination seemed to be the gas itself evaporates much more quickly than gasoline of the past leaving the float bowl empty.

How about a float bowl leak? This is probably more common with Q-jets, but it could happen with other carbs too.
