Speedo adapter? Doc's blocks a/c adapter? gauge adapters?

What are you guys with 4l60's and 80's using for speedo adapters? Who was using the Doc's Blocks for the a/c compressor, will it clear the frame with them? I dont know if I want to get new gauges or adapters. Autometer or just use some brass adapters from NAPA?

Re: Speedo adapter? Doc's blocks a/c adapter? gauge adapters?

Here is one speedo adapter I had bookmarked:

http://www.abbott-tach.com/cablex.htm

I am using the Docs Blocks manifolds on my 85 and they clear the frame easily. Member 68 short step has also used them on several 67-72 swaps as well.

If you want to stick with the stock gauges you can use the speedo adapter, use the stock oil psi sending unit, and for the temp either use an adapter in the pass head or drill and tap it for the stock sender.

I used docs blocks for my A/C also (corvette accessories) and they clear the frame, though it is a tight fit with the block, AC lines, frame, and header pipe but it will work.

I used an electric programable speedo from Autometer

Are you using the AA2209 and AA2210? I received mine today and they dont look like they will fit my compressor. 01 6.0 LQ4. 2 seperate fittings and only the center bolt to hold them down?
