Dealership Master Parts Catalog/Binder 1970?

I am startimg to go through my office and garage full of extra parts that I have collected over the years. I want a fair price verses an ebay inflated price so to be fair to those on this site. So the question is...
a) What is a fair asking price for Master Chevrolet Parts Books. 1970
b) Same goes for a Salesman Dealer Communication Box/material. This is a box on information with literature (some have 70 LP records) for teaching the salesman the features and beifits of the new model trucks. I have for years 69 and 70.
c) GM CB's I have three I think Black and wood.

I've had these for a number of years and it doesn't make sense to have multiples and it looks like I will need some extra $$$ for the Circuit Rider as I begin to fine tune her. This is a not FS thread but a thread to get some ideas on pricing. Thanks.

They are in storage for now... that being the case I am looking for prices for nice but not mint Catalogs and the CB's are in very good condition. When I put them up for sale pics will be posted.

There are those who are more experienced than I who will know what the going rates are.

This is a suggestion, not aimed at your necessarily, but it would be nice to see someone digitize the content of one of those old dealer books so that more of us could see them. I'm sure there are only so many around, and that there are enough people on the board interested to make it a worthwhile project.

Just my 2 cents.

Good point and well taken. I will try and post some pics in a few days.

Re: Dealership Master Parts Catalog/Binder 1970?

honestly, I would toss it on e-bay. It is hard to determine what the actual value is. E-bay is actually where some people go to determine the value.
Let the market determine what it is all worth.

Re: Dealership Master Parts Catalog/Binder 1970?

The master parts books i have seen from $25- $125. Just depends on the day. I bought the 72 gmc master book on e-bay for less than $20 shipped. I will guess a fair price of $50-$75 unless it is extremely nice, than more of course.
The communication boxes i haven't seen go for much either i hate to say. Unless they are corvette... I want to say $30-$50 on the trucks.
Keep in mind i don't watch these items all the time, so this is just for the ones i have seen. Good luck. Eric
