air pumps
When did gm start using the air pumps? I have an 1980 with plugs in the manifolds likely from the pumps? Anyone know if you can purchase these? I know they rusted out real bad.

Re: air pumps
In california I believe G.M. started using them in 1967 in passenger cars and 1968 were used nationwide. I dont know about trucks. You should be able to find some either rebuilt or possibly new somewhere I am thinking.
Once again I could be wrong so don't hold me to anything said here. Last edited by HOGDADDY; 08-26-2010 at 11:35 PM. |
