Question Any complete bolt in ls swap for 72 k5?

I know there are problems with the crossmember when doing a ls swap is there a direct bolt in solution or do you have to make your own? I saw the diy4x crossmember but dont know if its going to work.

ECE motor/trans mounts should allow it to bolt right up. That with a set of Doug Thorly swap headers and your almost there. You'll need to mount your computer, measure the drive shaft, and run the EFI fuel system. All 3 are not terribly hard as I understand them.

Take a look at CPP, contact Jeff with them and ask him. He may have a solution also. I think what Thealien is gonna get at is, if your not gonna put any lift on, then the ece's should work. I think, I've been wrong before.

Yea I am going to run atleast a 4in lift. Pacific fab has the motor mounts and front crossmember all in one but still open to more suggestions. I also need to know what to do about the trans member for s 4l60 or 4l80 to bolt up

If you are going with a lift Pacific Fab is the way to go.

As far as the transmission crossmember I believe the stock one will work (just might have to be moved). Depending on which transmission you decide will dictate what adapters you will need. Someone on here has a thread where he machined a small adapter for a 4L80?
