Re: Good Guys Texas 2010

We were there Fri, and Sat.. Lots of nice trucks and other stuff. The air ride switches on my t bird quit working when we tried to leave, leaving the car in full slamed position. Had to splice wires and bypass the switches to get it off the ground.

Thanks for the pics.....I'm liking the '65 as well. That white '61 is in the current issue of CCT, but I think your pics may be better.

Re: Good Guys Texas 2010

Thanks for sharing. Some really beautiful trucks. Although it's not as pretty as some of the others, the 3 deuce 409 is my favorite. Love that engine compartment, and the mags of course. Simple, basic and old school. He also did a nice job notching the seat, I hardly noticed it.

I imagine it must have been a toaster there, doesn't apear to be a lot of shade trees in the infield! Looking forward to the next upload.

Not at all. the weather was absolutely perfect. I think it was about 80 with a light breeze. I never got hot. There were so many, I will edit them down to size in the morning. One had a very interesting place for the gas filler relocation. It took me a couple minutes to find.

Re: Good Guys Texas 2010

These last two I got in the parking lot on the way out. I had a line of cars behind me and couldn't circle back around. I was pissed. I wanted to see the interior and front.

Richard, I bet that was Rusty's '60.
I'll ask him.

I was at the Gene Winfield Chop Class at Mercury Charlie's
Man was it awesome, in class by 8am and got out at 11pm sunday night.
That man is a machine, to be 83 years old.
I am exhausted.

the result.....3 inches out of a 1938 Pontiac coupe.

Re: Good Guys Texas 2010

I think the truck I'm talking about is 27 pictures up from last pic, black with red flames. Dash looked real nice, probably shot with a gun, not the roth rattle can flake. I'm just wanting to see the roth flake in person, it looks good in pictures but pictures make everything look good.

I have Roth Flake on the ThunderRocket's top.
Used to have HOK silver superflake but re did it with Roth Blue Balls.
I like it much better now.

There is always a vender at "Pistons and Paint" to see it in person.

No I wish I did, it was sandwiched in pretty good, and this was the best shot I could get. Here is the interior.
