Re: Is this a good deal?

I'd say it's worth more than 5 bills with the 350/power brakes

not hard finding them - finding them cheaply is the challenge; I've bought stuff on this site from other members, some on eBay, some from aftermarket sources

most common body rust areas are front fenders behind wheels, floors and rockers - patches and whole panels are available (again, not very cheap - but I found a rust-free parts truck for $300);
pics don't give any clue about trans, it was likely a 3- or 4-speed originally;
I'd call the guy if you're close, check it out if you're serious, it probably won't sit thre long

i think it is already running. love the idea of just puttin the logos on it and lowering it. i will get logos that say (YOUNG BUCK GARAGE) with an elks head in the middle of it. i wonder how much it would cost to lower it(doing all of the work myself, of course)

Re: Is this a good deal?

you know what else would be sick?(IMHO) put grey primer on the lower part and upper part, so that iit covers the cab and like 3 or 4 inches below the bed rails, and just leave the middle all the colors that it already is

Re: Is this a good deal?

Looks good for 500 bucks to me. And yes if you don't like it i'm sure you could get more than the 500 if you just did a little cleaning on it. But be warned once you start driving it you won't want to sell it...

noooooooooooooooo dont do the door logo it is so over played
unless it is a "shop" truck then the door logo is worthless
