Steering Column

I have a tilt steering column that wobbels all over the place... was wondering if I could get some info on fixing it.

Thanks

Re: Steering Column

Google "GM column wobble" and you'll find 100's of pages on how to fix it. Boils down to some bolts way down inside the column that have worked loose.

Re: Steering Column

This thread should have all the info/links you need. I'll be doing this in the near future as mine has a slight wobble.

Re: Steering Column

I used this same procedure to tighten up my column last year, added a touch of locktite to the loosened bolts. Tried to do it without the pivot pin tool, mistake. I bought one and it did the job. Take your time, lay everything out, clean and lube on reassembly.
Good Luck.
