Short or long tailshaft

Hay guys Im going to put a th350 in my 62 swb its got the old 305 motor and a granny four speed the frame has air ride with a triangulated four link in it with a two pice driveline would a short or long tailshaft on a th350 tranny be better or will I haft to shorten my driveline anyway im trying to find the best fiting tranny.....

Thanks for any info you can send my way...

If you put a long tail shaft 350, you won't have to get the driveline done again if you happen to put a 700R4 in later
