Re: Djm flip kit
As a general rule,... I use this formula:
1/2 coil = 1" of drop.

Re: Djm flip kit
I also used the DJM flip kit and found that 1/2 coil, along with DJM's 3" spindles, will make it level. Hope that helps.

Re: Djm flip kit
I cut off one coil and 3" drop spindles for a slight rake.

Re: Djm flip kit
Not to hijack a thread. Can I go 3/4 coil? Any pics? I have a few days off for TG and I think I can do the drop then as I think I'll have my goodies in order.

Re: Djm flip kit
Is that the 5" DJM flip kit? Did you need to install c-notches?

Re: Djm flip kit
I'd say go the full coil from the stock coil but any more the coils will fall out of the spring pockets when you lift the front of the truck up

Re: Djm flip kit
Its the 5" flip kit and i didnt have to take the bed off or c-notch the frame. It was pretty easy. The hardest part was grinding off the old bump stops.
