Re: Speaker hole- less dash

I totally agree with what ever comes down the line is what gets put in. Mine was made in St Louis and came with the underdash speaker and no holes. AM with A/C. And under the rear carpet and pad in the back, the bed is stamped 72 Blazer. (It's a Jimmy) I ordered a 66 Sport Fury that came in with two different color buckets bolted in it, And the correct on just stuck inside the car. It was up to the dealer to put the right bucket in it, and send the other one back. Go Figure.. Nothing stops the line.

Re: Speaker hole- less dash

This issue was discussed at great length a few years ago. I think you will find that any Blazers/Jimmys that have speaker holes in then dash will be '72 models. It seems that at the end of production on this body style, GM did not want to make any more Blazer/Jimmy specific dashes so they just finished out production with the much more plentiful truck dashes. By then they realized that nobody ever drove their Blazers with the top off anyway do what difference did it make?
