camaro subframe headers??

On my 57 truck I am grafting a camaro subframe. The engine will be in the stock mounting location on the subframe. What headers would I use? The camaro headers, block hugger headers, or what??

Re: camaro subframe headers??

Unless you lower or raise the engine height the camaro headers should work. Without seeing the setup of your truck though you may have issues with the master cylinder, steering shaft, proportioning valve that we are unable to take into consideration.

With the mounting you are planning darn near any SBC header set should fit.
I am not a fan of block huggers. A nice pair of ram horn manifolds looks tons better to me.
