Re: Cab construction??
And here's a little before and after. And a pic of my front fender which literally had a tub of bondo on it for that dent along the middle. Someone definitely scraped someone in a parking lot! People should sign a waiver before they buy bondo, or at least take a class on how to use it lol
Oh and the pic of the drivers side door opening looks dusty.... because of all the bondo I took off of that fender. |

Re: Cab construction??
Nice work and cool pics man! As for the color, it just depends on how much work you want to do. Changing colors could be a real pain sometimes. Maybe just update the blue on the outside to a similar shade.

Re: Cab construction??
Yep- cool photos!
Blue is a great standard color. Save you lots of money leaving it blue or a closer shade to what you got and then spend that savings on wheels. The right wheels make these trucks look fantastic.

Re: Cab construction??
Thanks for the comments guys! Everyone says it'l be easier blue.... I've already painted the engine bay black and I'll probably keep the interior blue. What colour exteriors came with blue interiors? only blue? I'll probably keep the truck blue but man I really love the look of the black ones!! Also what wheels would you guys suggest? I was thinking I would get my stock rims sandblasted, repaint them and clean up the trim rings and center caps. I was thinking about the bfgoodrich radial ta's little wider and lower than the regular tire size.
What do you guys think?? |

Re: Cab construction??
Solid work man, very clean! How come you didn't have to replace the inner rocker panel? Does that body not have them? I have a 69 and i'm basically doing the same thing, but i have to do the inners also...

Re: Cab construction??
Just wondering about the floor patch, does it have to be spot welded to the front cab support area?
