need advise on brakes....

Has anyone tried this brake kit? Or any of their products?

I too am in the market - so I wll be watching this one.

I called them to see what spindle they run with their kits - ECE or Western was the answer.

I think project "incredible hulk" is using these brakes. They look to be a quality product. Its in the builds section somewhere

why not check out ECE? I have had very good customer service from them, used their Front susp rebuild kit and love it.

I don't think they offer anything bigger then a 12", and no rear set up? Plus it never hurts to shop around.

ok i spoke with them and they have the 71-72 spindle, i have 73+ balljoints. can i make it work? i would have to remove my lower arms to have them pressed again.

Yes.
You will need to change your upper ball joint to the 71-72
version.
The lower ball joint is the same.
The outer tie rod will have to be changed to the 71-72 version.
Pretty simple if you want these brakes.

Yep, you'd need to use 71-72 ball joints. Tops obviously are a bolt-in swap, the BJ would have to be pressed out & swapped for the lowers if it's not already the same size (might be).

Keith is right, the lower ball joint is the same 71 through 87. Upper is 71-72 and 73-87 fitment.

Cool Re: need advise on brakes....

Thats good news, I can do the uppers as they are bolt on. The tie rod shouldnt be a problem as im running a dropmember. Thanks for the knowledge guys.

Stock 73 spindle. I have a 2inch Z so I didnt want to buy spindles till I mocked it up. I hope to lay 24"
