Re: new engine for my truck

Man, that much nitrous on top of 500 + inches is NEVER the wrong thing to do! That thing ought to fly!!! I hope your tires and suspension are up to it. Let us know how it runs!!

Re: new engine for my truck

31/10.5w on a 16" wide wheel. Coil over shocks, moroso trick springs, reinforced trailing arms, and a anti-roll bar to be installed. I hope I can get it to the ground with all this

31 x 10.5W on a 16" wheel? I haven't heard of anyone putting a 10.5W on anything wider than a 14". What are you running for front shocks? It sounds like you've got the suspension covered. That thing ought to fly!! I like the bench seat in it from your video. I recently put a bench seat in mine to replace the racing buckets that were in it. It sure is a lot more comfortable when rolling to the cruise nights.

Re: new engine for my truck

single qa1 on the front and strange single on the rear.I am going to c-notch the rear frame and install a good anti-roll. I would like to add a good set of tubular control arms on the front and do something with the rake of the truck(its setting about level). not trying to say anything bad about the fatman front end but I just don't like the look of the front wheels/tires setting that far under the truck. I have a long way to go but man it sure feels good to hear it run.

Re: new engine for my truck

Well guys I found the problem and it wasn't my carb. My crazy tell forgot I did a custom cam with a 4-7 swap when I ran the wires at 12:00 the night I fired it off for the first time I guess. I wish you all could hear this thing but all I have is my phone cam we lost our camcorder in the tornado. This thing sounds awsome!!!!!

Re: new engine for my truck

Yeah my brother tried one like that on his transam and after a few races started having problems with the aluminum arm wearing causing the car to leave crazy. I was wondering if I needed the double arm that wolf offers or if the single would be fine? My truck is all steel with a unlimited fiberglass hood that I think is as heavy as the stock hood.

Re: new engine for my truck

I would buy a heavy duty one since our trucks are so heavy.
