Whats the difference in 54 frame and 55 frame?
Hey guys I got a 54 chevy truck all original. I found a 55 chevy chassis ready to go and I was wondering if my 54 will bolt on.Is the track with and wheel base the same? My first time with this year trucks so I thought I would ask for help. Thanks

is the frame a 55 first series that looks like a 54 or a 55 2nd series that looks like 56, 57, 58, 59? They would be different.

the frames are substantially different, especially in the front. the olderstyle is tapered, narrower in the front. not just an inch or two either.

Completely different in almost every way. The bed will bolt to it, maybe.
