Stepside to fleetside

I know I can change a short stepside to a short fleet but is it as easy as unbolt and bolt on. Or is there mounts I have to move?

as long as it is the same years box as the frame..60-62 have different mounting points than 63-66. other than that it is a straight foward bolt up.

I did it, had no problems lining up bolt holes.

Re: Stepside to fleetside

Thanks guys, just have to see which one i want to go with. 1962 short step or 1965 LWB custom. Both are nice. 62 is cleaner and has orig. inline 6 all original, 65 is original also but the guy said the orig. owner put a older corvette engine with a 4 speed. Not going to sleep tonight.
