73 Blazer help

I've got a 73 blazer that didn't come with any weatherstripping, sweeps, door panels, etc... I was wondering if anyone could show me some pics of the window sweep setup? Do they mount to the door panels or directly on the door? I dont have any others of this year to look at. Also what sweeps/weatherstrip interchange with these year models? thanks for any help..

Re: 73 Blazer help

75 was the last year for a full convertable top so that'll limit you to 73-75 models on SOME of your seals. As for the window sweeps, the outer should mount directly to the door and the inner to the interior door panel.

wonderful... now I gotta find a set of door panels. Is it only 73-75 panels that will work?

Re: 73 Blazer help

Really any 73-87 door panel will work. IF you want originality, you'll need to find one from a 73-75, but there isn't anything different about the door itself.

Outside of the door window frame being cut off for the full convertible, the window sweeps are the same as any other truck. Yes there are specific window seals for the top to the glass for the full convertibles, but LMC has those.
