new to this side of the board. and new truck!!- picture

Hey guys, im usually over on the 72-87 side of the forum, but today things changed. My dad and i made a trip over to swift current saskatchewan and i bought myself a truck. 1988 GMC Sierra SLE long box. 305 auto, the whole works! (pw, pl, tape am/fm) must been top of the line when it first came out. And best of all, it only set me back 1500 bones.

I Dont know much about this year yet, but thats why im here!
Here is one picture from the ad, ill get some more up tomorro when its bright out.

do some engine work.305's are notoriously gutless. otherwise looks like a very nice truck. SLE is the top end truck from that era.

Nice truck you got dude!

I have a '89 silverado C1500, loaded with everything and love it! Its been in my family since new and practically grew up with it.

I posted in your other thread about gettin more power out of your 305. 305s are good motors. What restricts them are there damn small heads. I think there peanut port heads I think. IDK?

Anyways, nice truck!
