Tubular strut rods MII

I've got a basic MII set up in my '50AD, I can't quite stretch to tubular lower 'A' arms, but has anyone any experience of these?

http://www.heidts.com/mustang2_tubul...t_rod_kit.html

I have the stock lower pressed arms already, but i'm not happy with the strut rod set-up.
I like the extra movement these ones seem to offer and they wont break the bank!

Pros/cons? Comments welcome.

How much more for the complete arm? I would just upgrade the whole thing.

Re: Tubular strut rods MII

The main problem is I already have way too much tied up in this set-up,thanks to the UK Gov taking a healthy slice of my hard earned cash!

I've got airbags too and the range of movement is IMO too great for the stock strut rods.

The other factors are due to my location,I have to add import tax, VAT(More tax) and shipping into the equation.
The import tax is based on the amount things cost cost then they slap another 20% VAT on top!(robbing b*stards)

The tubular arms seemed like the easiest(and cheapest) route to go.

I was just wondering if anyone had used them and was looking for feedback.

Re: Tubular strut rods MII

It's been a while since I've looked into MII stuff, and while I've never seen the part you posted, I feel it's a pretty cool part. I had a MII front end in my Nova (stock MII, not a kit), and the controversy was that using a tubular arm was actually weaker than a stock with strut rod, even if the tubular was gusseted. I think the part you're looking into fits the bill...it gives you what you want/need at a price you can handle...what else can you ask for?
