Shift linkage ?
I have a 83 4x4 with a 5.3 and a turbo 400 trans. My problem is when i installed my shift linkage 1st and 2nd gear are kind sticky. When I pull the gear shifter all the way down you and tell it gets into a bind. I adjusted the linkage but still no luck. Anybody else have this problem?

Re: Shift linkage ?
I used the Kugel shift linkage and have the same problem. I wondered if the Ididit cable conversion kit would work better.

Re: Shift linkage ?
Did you install it in park or in neutral? It works much better to work from the neutral position. Jay
