Re: G20 TBI Vans
I have had several like that over the year's (I had 4 boys) , I love'd every one I had. best I recall I think they average'd 15mpg. suck to put sparkplugs in, bout the only complaint I ever had.
Gave my last one to my oldest when I got the dually. I may have to buy another if the boy's keep give'n me Grandyoung'ns !

Re: G20 TBI Vans
Van gets like 10 city mpg 16 or so highway. Only revs at 1700 rpm at 100 km/hr with the overdrive.

Re: G20 TBI Vans
Mines been rock solid to. Only thing I've had to do to it in the 6 years I've had her is a new dist cap, ignition module, plugs/wires, and tires. Its not my dd but sure comes in handy pulling trailers and hauling stuff. Its arguably more functional than my c10 especially for hauling the kids around. My best mileage is about 13-14 mpg with the 5.7/700r4. She is very rusty though I'm probably a few hundred lbs lighter because of that hehehe.
I'd love to have a 4wd conversion but I don't think anyone made them on these vans. Here is a pic of the guy I bought it from auto crossing the big hulk: Last edited by turbo350; 03-06-2011 at 10:35 PM. |
