Is this a DBC intake?
I am going to convert from DBW to DBC, is the intake in the picture for DBC? The guy says it cam of an LQ9 from an Escalade.
I can't post a picture so I posted the link to the intake. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/parts-...-complete.html

Re: Is this a DBC intake?
I would have to guess it is due to the throttle cable bracket on passenger side.

Re: Is this a DBC intake?
If it is drive by cable it is not from an Escalade LQ9. They are ALL drive by wire. (The Escalade that is)

Re: Is this a DBC intake?
I thought so too, he says that he really doesn't remember but it is a DBC intake. If the salvage yard did pull the engine this weekend then my wife will pick it up today. I am getting the motor Intake to oil pan, alt, p/s pump, starter, MAF, O2 sensors, and manifolds with the odd exhaust flange.

Re: Is this a DBC intake?
If you want a LQ9 just make sure thats what it is. If it is it should be a DBW. Dont pay LQ9 price for a LQ4 engine.
