Classic Industries Dash Pad?
Hey folks...tax returns coming in soon so you know what that means! more truck parts! I have been wanting to get a dash pad for a while and now that I have the inside basically done painting I'm ready...I've looked at LMC and they have it for like $400 dollars! I also checked Classic Industries and it's like $200.....I've seen guys get a 81-87 dash pad from them and it be good but I don't know anyone to have gotten a 73-78 (and 78-80) dash pad on here....has anybody? Cause if they have and it's a good quality item that's what I'll be getting......
Thanks in advance!

Re: Classic Industries Dash Pad?
I just saw some repro dashes at a local car show this weekend. They looked really nice to me. Heres a link to the website but the dashes are not listed. You will have to give them a call. http://www.tommyspickupparts.com/

If you boys knew how to search, you'd be dangerous. Same topic just came up a few weeks ago..

Got mines from Classic Industries a few weeks ago. Good quality, but i haven't had a chance to put it in yet. I'm currently redoing my entire interior.

Re: Classic Industries Dash Pad?
no reason to get angry...I can't paint mine......1) because I already chunked it and 2) because I had 2 holes the size of Texas in mine.......and had cracks running all through it....

Re: Classic Industries Dash Pad?
There is nothing easy about turning up a nice 73-80 dash that's not cracked, warped, holes, etc without spending some cash.

Re: Classic Industries Dash Pad?
Some people on here have show trucks so they'd want new things that are in real good shape....if my dash hadn't been so bad I would have definitely painted it....or maybe tweed it or something...but I'm NOT going to pay the $400 dollars for one from LMC...that's just ridiculous....

Re: Classic Industries Dash Pad?
The Accuform dash cap I got for my 83 last summer is badly cracked now, so I am not a fan of dash caps. I wish there was some way to cover the dash with thin metal or wood so it would last and fit properly. The desert sun wrecks anything vinyl or plastic.
