got the truck back, wiring is back together, ignition works now, hoping to get a start on bodywork tomorrow, starting with back fenders and roll pan. Another problem i can blame the last owner for is that the pulleys on the engine are all 5 rib serpentine from a late 80's or early 90's chevy, except for the alternator pulley is 4 rib, so the belt has a rib ripped off it. some peoples kids.

Got the rollpan on, looks great rounding out the back end and went on pretty good..going to attempt back fenders tomorrow

well i looked up the VIN today...

lmc order got here a couple weeks ago, includes back fender braces, drivers side fuel tank door, chrome waterneck, edelbrock throttle bracket, fan shroud, windshield washer pump and reservoir, chrome fuel filter, and fuel tank selector switch

new box in june here. found it 15 mins away for 800 bucks.
today i dropped off the seat to be recovered in black vinyl (i think) good to minus 40C. should be done in under 2 weeks. cab corners are started, we'll see when those get done. |

some engine pictures right now and the back window of whybuyaford's van that we picked up the box during a spare class with. rock hit the front of the trailer and took it out!

the last 4 pictures are of a 63 chev that a road construction guy owns. he has a brake line lock with the actuator button for the solenoid on his shifter. easier to do burnouts without putting too much stress on the entire driveline. decent smokeshow with the 454, 400 horse with a roller cam and lifters
