Need a litle help with wiring the starter

I put a 700r4 in my 65 and therefore had to replace the starter flywheel etc. I'm trying to wire it back up and I can't remember what goes where. Thx

well, if I remember correctly,

POS (+) Cable from battery and fusible link to large post on starter.
purple wire from key start to small post.

there may be a item in the FAQ on this, I'll have to look...

What kind of distributor? Points type has yellow wire on post closest to the motor. Purple wire on outside post. Hei distributor has no yellow wire hooked up.

The start wire goes to the small post on the engine side of the main terminal. (closest to the engine).

The "R" terminal is resistor bypass (wire to Dist.) and of course the "S" terminal is the purple wire......
