2wd vs 4wd floor questions
What the difference in the floors and tunnel cover between the two?
I am looking to put a 2wd body on a 4wd frame so looking for any differences in the two and what I need to do to make this work? Thanks |

Re: 2wd vs 4wd floor questions
there is a big difference, you will need a body lift or a floor swap to clear your transfercase
this is what i did to put a 2wd cab on a 4wd frame: Before 2wd floor: 4wd parts cab: parts cab floor pieces in 2wd cab: hole in 2wd cab: finished cab: all these pics are in my sig, 78 big 10 project |

Re: 2wd vs 4wd floor questions
to do it right you need the hump, or you can do a 3" body lift.

Re: 2wd vs 4wd floor questions
So when you say floor swap you mean just the hump for tranny and t-case? That's all the difference I can tell from the pics.
