Front license plate bracket

I want to put a front custom script license on the new front bumper of my 62. I have found the rear brackets and the frames but I don't seem to see a specific bracket for the front.

Is it a matter of a universal bracket that can be bought from a parts strore.

Can someone give me a source or what they did.

Thanks

Re: Front license plate bracket

Most people just bolt the plate directly to the bumper using the factory holes. I thought the factory holes positioned the plate too high on the bumper, so I fabricated a simple steel plate that bolts to the original holes, and drilled two more holes lower down directly through the bumper to attach the license. These photos show the stock location, the bare plate, and with the license plate installed in the lower location. A secondary benefit being the steel plate keeps the license from getting bent up:

Re: Front license plate bracket

Thanks, I have the two holes in the bumper and I can see how a simple plate would work.
