Chevelle Trick springs ??

I know I have read somewhere someone used chevelle moroso trick springs for the 73 and up trucks! I need to get new springs and new stock ones are 140 bucks! Trick springs for chevelle is around 125!

So anyone know if they will work? Next will be to figure out what spring rate etc to get!

If the springs are the same diameter they should fit. The only thing is the height. I ordered a set of afco springs a few years ago and ended up having to use a set of adjustable spring pockets to close the gap and get the ride height I needed.

Yes, I used them on mine before changing to a complete custom suspension. You will need to know front weight, to order the proper spring rate. There is a reason that they say not to drive on the street with them. They store so much energy, that I had to tighten the extension on my front shocks to drive without getting a rediculous amount of front end rise. Work well for a cheap way to get weight transfer. Re: Chevelle Trick springs ??

Paul,

I have similar issues with the Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 spring I run. 17 7/8" long and 180lb rate by my math (knowing front end weight and unsprung weight). If the fronts are in the tightest setting, cool, not a ton of lift when I get on it, but man, set it all the way loose and I definately max out the front suspension on the street with no burn out.
