I think it's just a case of taking the designated driver thing a bit too far.

Re: Chevy tough!

Had a 1996 Flat bed F250, we did that with a 1980-something Datsun. We only moved it from the pasture (Used a loader to put it on) to the house lol.

It didn't fall off or anything but I kept more time looking at the rear-view than I did going forward lol

I remember seeing them, even found them on youtube before, but this is the best I could find. Starts off with a ford commercial, but keep watching.

If I remember there were 6 bags of ready mix in the rear floorboard, Where it sits the rear struts were pushed right through the wheel wells into the trunk....

Look at the dent in the bed from the front tire.

Yep, but that's pretty extreme. I don't know if it's funny or just plain sad.

Here is one that's a little closer to home. I found it here on another thread.

You know, the Ford guys would say he needs that Taurus in the back for when the Chevy breaks down......
Bumpstops.

I once had 2000lbs of block in my lowered '64 and you could hardly tell.

Re: Chevy tough!

Sorry to awake the dead but the other day I hauled a load of scrap to the local scrapper and while I was there a beat up ford bronco pulled in with the back off and a upside down car in the "bed" dragging the ground.
I immediately had a flashback to this post.
When the scrapper pulled it out and flipped it over with the fork lift you could see it had been dragging on the highway so much the carb was half gone at an angle.
