carbed 350 to 5.3 ?

I have my 64 down right now to put in a 700r4,my buddy wants to put in a 5.3 at the same time. Do you think it is worth the expense and effort? My 350 is completely rebuilt and runs good. I eventually want to drive the 64 long distance and enjoy it .

Yes i think it would be worth it when the rebuilt engine wears out. would you do efi or carb? If you want to drive it a lot maybe do efi. But for just a fun truck and looks do a carb. Swap is much easyer with a carb. Can be done in one day.
