To those who added factory boosters
I picked up a unit and have everything minus the 3 bolts with the phillips head. What did you use? Looks like it needs to mount flush in the wedge piece.
Also, I currently have a 72 3/4 ton booster on and am wondering what kind of a difference will I notice going to the stock setup? Thanks. Last edited by Joemomma1; 05-08-2011 at 10:29 PM. |

Re: To those who added factory boosters
The '72 C20 booster should be a dual diaphram booster. Not knowing just what you are changing to, you may see a decrease in braking power (harder pedal)

Re: To those who added factory boosters
Whoever set up the layout on my 1965 c10 chevy used the 9 inch 1965 power brake booster and the 1969 gmc(that was how it came up in the NAPA parts system when I had to replace it) dual pot master cylinder going to front and rear drum brakes.
Dunno if that helps or not. check my truck webp age in my sig line for pics. -W |

Re: To those who added factory boosters
Not really, on the wedge piece that bolts the booster bracket to the firewall there are 3 philips head screw. I'm missing this but have seen them on my other 2 setups. I'm wondering what I can use, the back needs to be conical.
